Morgane Oger is one of the organizers the Trans Advocacy day and advocates for trans* rights and social justice in her free time between work and family obligations.
She is chair of the Trans Alliance Society and spokesperson of the Safer Schools Coalition. She also volunteers on the QMUNITY Programs Advisory Council.
Morgane is working on human rights issues at the provincial and federal levels including support and promotion of federal bill C-279 and provincial bill M211 – Gender Identity and Expression Human Rights Recognition Act. Morgane works in internet technologies as an engineer in a mid-size enterprise and in tourism as a marine operator.
